Hi @Antonklroberts, I believe the word ܩܸܛܠܐ is usually used for the non-abstract sense of “a kill” or “a murder”, not the abstract sense of killing which is ܩܛܵܠܐ. So maybe it makes more sense to have the abstract concept of a genocide as ܩܛܵܠܥܲܡܵܐ “the killing of a nation” rather than ܩܛܲܠܥܲܡܵܐ “a murder of a nation” Shuraya (talk) 15:37, 18 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
