Etymology

Debates exist on various forums, noteably Word Reference Arabic forum). Most users agree that it's of Slavic origin but when and how remain unknown. The derived forms немца (ru), niemca (pl) (genitive, accusative cases) are much closer to modern Arabic than the dictionary/nominative forms. Anatoli 03:39, 6 October 2009 (UTC)
