Etymology

@Saranamd: This word doesn't exist in Arabic. I can see that Ottoman Turkish نشریه exists. Does the suffix ـِیِه (-eye) exist in Persian (or Ottoman Turkish), loaned from Arabic ـِيَّة (-iyya)? @Fenakhay I see, thank you. It looks like a late Qajar (1890s?) coinage so an Ottoman borrowing would be possible.--Saranamd (talk) 10:12, 12 November 2023 (UTC)
