Talk:مرية

مِراء (mirāʔ) is verbal noun of مارَى (mārā), but I'm wondering if one could somehow derive it from ر ء ي (r-ʔ-y). Perhaps as *مِرْآء (*mirʔāʔ)? It would certainly make sense semantically and the root m-r-y does not appear to be well developed. 2.203.201.113 13:37, 19 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
