@Profes.I. I don’t understand this etymology: Are you trying to say that any meaning “to mark” in ش ي م (š-y-m) is from Aramaic? Or that this Arabic fish name is borrowed from a lost Aramaic סִימָא* (sīmā)? Fay Freak (talk) 12:23, 18 August 2018 (UTC)
