I suppose the closest phrase in the Christian tradition would be "The Lord has given and the Lord has taken away" (Job 1:21). It might be useful for a translation in some cases. On the other hand it's difficult to give a Christian translation for an Islamic phrase (or vice versa). So I'm putting it here. 2.207.102.112 23:08, 23 November 2024 (UTC)
