@Wikitiki89, Angr: For a very Ashkenazic food item, I am finding very little use of this word, and it's confusing me. Weinreich doesn't list it in any spelling, and Niborski/Vaisbrot only in the spelling I used for the lemma here, because it does seem to get some hits on BGC. Is the diminutive just so nonstandard that it hardly ever turns up in print, despite it being the only form I've ever heard and the one that birthed English rugelach?
