You're right that in Exodus (שמות כז כ) it's זָךְ; but I checked 2 dictionaries (the one cited & Langenscheidt) & both have it as זַךְ. Langenscheidt adds: i.p. (=in pause) זָךְ. --Sije (talk) 00:05, 16 October 2017 (UTC)
- But that's a תביר, not usually cause for a pausal form. Nonetheless, I do see (Bible concordance) that when not pausal it appears with both vowelizations. And in משלי כ יא it's זַךְ on a stronger pause than a תביר. I daresay Langenscheidt is wrong and it simply has two forms for some reason unrelated to pausa. And I guess we should have both forms, then. Whaddaya think? (Pinging you, since it's been a while since you posted here.)—msh210℠ 23:35, 30 October 2017 (UTC)
- Yes, I agree to have the entry mention both forms; although I'm not sure exactly how. I'll leave it up to you; you're the expert. --Sije (talk) 02:10, 31 October 2017 (UTC)
