Needs translit... dusí? —Μετάknowledgediscuss/deeds 07:26, 3 December 2012 (UTC)Reply

As far as pronunciation, stress is initial; and I'm not sure about the first vowel: it may be (as implied by the spelling) a typical Israeli cholam, but I think it may be more like a typical Ashkenazi kamatz (as in דתים/‎דתיים), which is unrounded. I just don't know. We need an Israeli, or someone who's heard the word from Israelis recently, to add pronunciation. And then I have no idea what to do about the transliteration….—msh210 (talk) 19:29, 3 December 2012 (UTC)Reply
Since it's not a real Hebrew word but just the modern Hebrew spelling of the Yiddish/Ashkenazi pronunciation of a Hebrew word, my guess is it's either dúsi (דּוּסִי) or dósi (דּוֹסִי). I would bet on dúsi. (compare משפוחה/mishpucha, which we conveniently don't have). --WikiTiki89 08:58, 4 December 2012 (UTC)Reply
Not sure why I didn't think to check this before but Morfix.co.il gives it as an adjective as דוֹסִי (with a cholam and without a dagesh on the dalet (strange)). --WikiTiki89 15:36, 5 December 2012 (UTC)Reply

Forgot to mention: I had a native speaker confirm the dotting (but he's only heard it in the plural, FWIW). —Μετάknowledgediscuss/deeds 06:43, 8 December 2012 (UTC)Reply
