Etymology
[edit]@Metaknowledge: I think the etymology is:
Calque of English creationism, from בְּרִיאָה (b'ri'á, “creation”) + ־תני (-tani) + ־ות (-ut, “-ness, -ity, -ism”)
- ־תי being a feminine form for ־י (-i) (e.g. in שנתי, בעייתי, בריאותי)
- and ־ני an alternative to ־י that's used sometimes to avoid other stuff (here to avoid *בְּרִיאָתָוּת (*b'ri'atut) which sounds nonsensical) (e.g. in אופייני, רוחני, ידני). Also see this Academy article.

- P.S. *בְּרִיאָתָוּת (*b'ri'atut) also sounds like זַאֲטוּט (za'atut, “infant, toddler; mischievous child”). It might be good to show נ or ת as interfixes for something. —Enosh (talk) 12:08, 3 December 2016 (UTC)
