тыкать "to thou"

@Atitarev Hi. Are you sure Etymology 2 can be 6a? Zaliznyak says it's only 1a. Benwing2 (talk) 04:02, 16 December 2022 (UTC)

@Benwing2: 6a for etymology #2 is unusual but it happens, especially in the sense "thouing" is perceived as "poking" (since it may be considered rude in some situations).

If someone is offended by "thouing", they can say "Ты меня не тычь!", which is non-standard and uses "ты".
