@Atitarev, Cinemantique, Wikitiki89 Is this verb really bi-aspectual as the conjugation tables claim, or is it only perfective? Benwing2 (talk) 07:07, 6 January 2016 (UTC)
- Thanks for noticing, fixed. Sorry, don't how I made it biaspectual. --Anatoli T. (обсудить/вклад) 07:11, 6 January 2016 (UTC)
- @Atitarev You also deleted the alternative forms with stress on the root, is that correct? Benwing2 (talk) 07:36, 6 January 2016 (UTC)
- It's better now. :) --Anatoli T. (обсудить/вклад) 07:39, 6 January 2016 (UTC)
- @Atitarev, Cinemantique, Wikitiki89, Wanjuscha, Per utramque cavernam, Guldrelokk Does this verb have forms stressed as спалю́, спа́лишь, спа́лит (type 4c)? Zaliznyak says this verb is only type 4b (спалю́, спали́шь, спали́т), and most other dictionaries agree. The only place I could type-4c conjugations listed (спа́лишь, спа́лит) is the Словарь русского арго, which lists them as alternatives. Maybe they are nonstandard or slang? - @Benwing2: 4b is standard, 4c is colloquial or slang for the "catch red-handed" sense. --Anatoli T. (обсудить/вклад) 00:16, 24 June 2018 (UTC)
- I think it can be split like пали́ть (palítʹ) into standard and slang. --Anatoli T. (обсудить/вклад) 00:18, 24 June 2018 (UTC)
- @Atitarev Thanks for splitting it. I put the participle of the 4c variant as спалённый instead of спа́ленный; this is what was there before. Is this correct? Benwing2 (talk) 03:14, 24 June 2018 (UTC)
- @Benwing2: No, "спа́ленный" ("caught red-handed") is for 4c, and "спалённый" ("burnt") is for 4b.
- Coincidentally, спа́ленный (spálennyj) is also an attributive adjective of спа́льня (spálʹnja, “bedroom”), so it would be hard for you to find good examples, as it is a slang. --Anatoli T. (обсудить/вклад) 03:20, 24 June 2018 (UTC)
