Is this where the name Rabinowitz comes from?—msh210 20:03, 1 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

No, Rabinowitz (or Rabinowicz) is from the Polish word for "rabbi's son" (rabin + -ow + -icz), while Рабинович is from the Russian for rabbi's son (раввин + -ов + -ич). —Stephen 20:23, 1 April 2008 (UTC)Reply
