Why isn't there a perfective for this? I thought one did exist. Does it not exist or has it just not been posted here? Thomasc93 (talk) 21:08, 20 June 2012 (UTC)
- There isn’t an exact perfective. The closest is попиздеть, but it changes the meaning a little. —Stephen (Talk) 00:32, 21 June 2012 (UTC)
- Like with many verbs, there are a few possible perfective forms, yes, the prefixes change the meaning a bit. Just a couple of extra (all vulgar(!), of course):
- "попиздеть" - to speak for some time (e.g. мы попиздели немного и пошли домой)
- "напиздеть" - this adds the meaning "to talk a lot of crap/lies" (e.g. он напиздел, что принесет мне деньги).
- "спиздеть" - tell a lie (the vulgar version of соврать - e.g. он ей спиздел, что он не женат). Number two can be used in the same sense but "спиздеть" doesn't add "a lot" to the meaning (a lot of lies, or dubious stories). --Anatoli (обсудить) 01:54, 21 June 2012 (UTC)
- Ah, alright! Thanks for the clarification. I was thinking напиздеть was a perfective form, but it wasn't in my dictionary; пиздеть isn't even in there. I saw напиздеть in something I was reading so that made me wonder if it was a perfective or an entirely different verb I didn't know. I'm also assuming all of these fall under the category of мат, seeing that they all involve пиздеть? Thanks again guys! Thomasc93 (talk) 17:37, 21 June 2012 (UTC)
- You're welcome. Yes, these are all obscene words. --Anatoli (обсудить) 22:41, 21 June 2012 (UTC)
