- It is a compound word made up of не (ne)+уже (uže)+ли (li). The particle ли (li) is sometimes written and pronounced ль (lʹ) (mostly poetic and lyrical, for metric reasons). —Stephen (Talk) 13:15, 24 April 2013 (UTC)
