@Atitarev, KoreanQuoter Another word claimed by Zaliznyak to have two different short declensions: b(2) (e.g. возвуждён возбуждена́) when referring to человек or толпа or when a participle, a(1) (e.g. возвуждён возбуждённа) when referring to речь or состояние. Is there a meaning difference here? Is Zaliznyak right here? ruwikt disagrees, saying the adjective is a(1) and the participle is b(2). Benwing2 (talk) 02:17, 10 February 2016 (UTC)

I'd make adjectives to use both возбуждена́ and возбуждённа - b(2) and a(2) and participles just b(2). --Anatoli T. ^{(обсудить}/^вклад) 02:22, 10 February 2016 (UTC)

(edit conflict) @Atitarev BTW Zaliznyak claims many other such words have a similar split, e.g.

• принуждённый: b(2) when "что-л. делать" or participle, a(1) when "смех, мане́ры etc."
• вы́нужденный: а(2) (вы́нужден вы́нуждена) when "что-л. делать" or participle, a(1) (вы́нужден вы́нужденна) when "посту́пок, призна́ние"
• искажённый: b(2) when "зло́бой etc. — о лице" or participle, a(1) when "смысл etc."
• обнажённый: b(2) when "нагой; лишенный листвы", a(1) when "поро́к etc."

etc.

BTW §8 says that words under this header have b(2) as participles, otherwise a(1). §9 says words under this header have a(2) as participles, otherwise a(1). Benwing2 (talk) 04:16, 10 February 2016 (UTC)
