@Benwing2: I made a change to the inflection, can you update the inflected form entries? --WikiTiki89 18:27, 24 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

@Wikitiki89 Will do tonight. Benwing2 (talk) 18:51, 24 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

gʷowkólos ‎(“cowherd”‎)

[edit]

Is there any chance that this word is connected with Old Irish: búachaill and its descendants?

It certainly couldn't be common IE inheritance. If we're considering something like Celtic->Gothic-> Old Russian (which should be disfavored due to intricacy), I'm not familiar with any cases of *-ly- turning into -й in Russian (not saying there aren't any though), although -й presents problems to the Turkic Etymology as well. @Atitarev, could you please help me find the work that the quote belongs to? —Μετάknowledgediscuss/deeds 20:38, 24 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

@Metaknowledge: Done. It's just called «Тво́ри» (“Tvóry”, The works) Something is wrong with the URL display, though. --Anatoli T. (обсудить/вклад) 00:38, 25 April 2019 (UTC)Reply
