@Benwing2 "о in "Йошкар" is alternatively pronounced without the reduction. It needs a "tertiary accent", I think. (I haven't used it yet and can't enter right now). "о" in "о-пэр" may not have a secondary stress either but still pronounced without a reduction. --Anatoli T. ^{(обсудить}/^вклад)
