I don't know how to add it: Category:Greek words suffixed with -άρχης Thanks, sarri.greek (talk) 21:29, 30 November 2017 (UTC)Reply

@Sarri.greek: It's added with the {{affix}} or {{suffix}} templates: {{affix|el|μόνος|t1=only|-άρχης|t2=ruler}} or {{suffix|el|μόνος|t1=only|άρχης|t2=ruler}}. I like to use {{affix}}, because it's clearer if the hyphen is visible in the wikitext. — Eru·tuon 00:39, 1 December 2017 (UTC)Reply
(And these templates go in the Etymology section, in case that isn't clear.) — Eru·tuon 00:40, 1 December 2017 (UTC)Reply
In this case, because the Modern Greek term descends from Ancient Greek, we would usually write "equivalent to {{affix|el|μόνος|t1=only|-άρχης|t2=ruler}}" to indicate that the compounding did not happen in the Modern Greek era. (That is also done for many English words that were formed in Old or Middle English, like only.) — Eru·tuon 00:41, 1 December 2017 (UTC)Reply
