γλαυκά is a perfectly correct form in some dialects. Attic (with some exceptions) and Ionic changed original long α to η. Of course, Attic eventually became the standard over the other dialects, so it's generally better to use the Attic forms most of the time. Chuck Entz (talk) 21:17, 28 May 2012 (UTC)Reply
