@Fenakhay: You want to use collectives as lemmas now? Okay. I have to say I don't like the approach in Arabic entries where both collective and singulative are often used as lemmas alongside. It's confusing and creates a lot of additional work. So I think it should be either or. From the native Semitic perspective (which is also yours) collectives are the correct lemmas, for the English learner it may be the other way round. But okay. So we'd use your new mt-sing-noun thing on the singulatives, but they would be non-lemma articles, I guess. I'd still think my glosses were useful. It's not always entirely clear to the learner what the collective form means in comparison to the singulative. I mean with some experience it becomes logical, but we can't expect all readers to have that. 92.73.31.113 08:43, 9 February 2020 (UTC)Reply
