Pronunciation question: This entry and the one for échecs (échecs#French) both state that the two words are homophones, and both give /e.ʃɛk/ as the IPA rendering. Nevertheless, the audio files are different. I am not fluent in French, but my guess is that the error is here. The audio on this page has an extra syllable at the start, one that seems totally unconnected to the spelling. JamesMLane (talk) 21:38, 16 March 2021 (UTC)
