- It means clergyman. Since missionaries are clergymen, it can be used for them as well. However, it does not mean missionary, it just means clergyman. —Stephen (Talk) 21:27, 10 December 2010 (UTC)

- Navajos don’t have missionaries, and the missionaries sent by Western churches are called ééʼ neishoodii (clergymen). The act of sending missionaries to savage lands on a mission of conversion and civilization is not valued by the Navajo, and ééʼ neishoodii is good enough. —Stephen (Talk) 21:53, 10 December 2010 (UTC)
