Can we assume a Germanic origin? All romanian languages I know use "how is it"/"how are you", whilst Germanic languages have: How is it going; wie geht es; hoe gaat het; wo geit 't; hvordan gar det; hoe git it. These use all a form of to go, just like French aller.Dakhart 13:18, 20 September 2011 (UTC)
