"I've had a date with Ercan for two years"? One date ... for two years? Impossible. I don't know Turkish well enough to confirm what this actually means, but I suggest one of the following:

"I've been going out with Ercan for two years." "I've been dating Ercan for two years."

Maybe it just felt like two years... heh. I've changed it to "been dating" per your suggestion. Equinox ◑ 12:47, 26 October 2013 (UTC)
