Must be something wrong about the Danish IPA. We have /ɛːˀɡ/ for both etymology 1 and 2, but [eˀɡ̊] vs. [ɛˀɡ̊]. That's impossible. If the phonemic IPA is the same, then the phonetic IPA must also be the same. -- The Danske Ordbog entry has [ɛˀɡ̊] for both, but the audio sounds more like [eˀɡ̊]. So maybe that's where this comes from. At any rate they must be the same; otherwise the phonemes must also be changed. 90.186.170.69 05:47, 1 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
