[edit]"Cause" is listed as an alternative form here, but I believe this is incorrect? A contraction should have an apostrophe to represent the missing letters, in this case the missing letters from "because", for instance "dont" is not considered an alternative form for "don't", which represents the missing letters from the phrase "do not".
