[edit]- A straits in the Red Sea, Asia. The narrowed waters that exists between the southern end of the Sinai Peninsula and the nearest mainland of the Arabian Peninsula, which contains the Island of Tiran, that separates the Gulf of Aqaba from the main body of the Red Sea.
