Sparta remix
Appearance
English
[edit]Etymology
[edit]From a video published on May 8, 2007 entitled "300 This is Sparta Remix!!!",[1] which was a remix of that line from the 2006 film 300. That film is set in Sparta during the Battle of Thermopylae.
This video's publication was followed in later months of 2007 by several other similar remixes of that line, all of which by 2008 inspired their base rhythm to be used for lines in other media, which generalized the term.
