Ultimately, an alternative spelling of Cinco, originally from Hokkien (Gô͘), via Hispanicization of Chinese surname (Gô͘) by similar sounding Calque of Hokkien (gǒ͘, five) to Spanish cinco (five), and then later Filipinized through Filipino orthography.
