- General Ho Chien, Chairman of Hunan, reports that 3,000 "Reds" under Ho Lung have escaped to Lichuan, south-western Hupeh, from Sienfeng after being defeated by the Brigade under Major-General Ku Chia-chi and the Hupeh troops at Wolung-ping along the Hunan-Hupeh border.
