Siêbegewâld
Appearance
Limburgish
[edit]Etymology
[edit]Attested as zeuenghe waet in 1326. From zeuen (“seven”) + gewald (“partial control, sway”), the place possibly owes it name to seven parties with right of use to common ground.[1] Compare Dutch Siebengewald.
