- An Eastern Woodlands tribe descended from an association of Mahican, Potatuck, Weantinock, Tunxis, and Podunk peoples, recognized by Connecticut and granted a reservation in 1736, but derecognized by the United States in 2005.

- A town in Rensselaer County, New York, incorporated in 1788.
- A village in the Town of Schaghticoke, originally settled as Harts Falls, incorporated in 1867 and renamed Schaghticoke in 1881.
