Rehoboth

  1. Any of various places mentioned in the Bible; see Rehoboth (Bible).
  2. Any of various places and settlements in Australia, Israel, Namibia, Nigeria, and the United States.
  3. (historical) A bantustan in South West Africa (present-day Namibia), intended by the apartheid government to be a self-governing homeland for the Baster people in the area around the town of Rehoboth.
