Could older members help me add more sources? The only English source that I found barely touches the suffix and is from 1965. The other one is in Bulgarian, which is not spoken by many people, and moreover, it gives as examples both Slavic terms and borrowings from proto-Bulgar (an Oghuric language) - e.g. чрьтогъ (bedroom), ковьчегъ (toolbox, casket).
