Second reference

[edit]

@Fay Freak, Can the second reference is attributed to the sentence about a Proto-Finnic form? If these authors have introduced this comparison into etymology. Many thanks. Gnosandes (talk) 21:17, 16 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

@Gnosandes: I don’t understand your English here exactly; you can also write me Russian. I have looked into this very reference and found it does not mention Finnic; and even supposing this was untrue (I did not read it particularly attentively) I moved the reference because I changed the sentence a bit and it would not reference what had been referenced before. (Not that a reference is particularly necessary for this comparison. The Proto-Finnic entry rather needs references, but I guess the Helsinki linguist who added the Proto-Slavic derivation at the Proto-Finnic entry knew what he was talking about.) @Fay Freak, Хорошо. Оставим всё на своём месте. Gnosandes (talk) 22:52, 16 August 2020 (UTC)Reply
