This entry seems very unlikely. 1. It assign the meaning of 'vulture' though no alleged descendant show this meaning. 2. The Ge'ez and Tigrinya are clearly onomatopoeia of the raven's call, and should not be bundled with the words for owl in the other languages. 3. Though *ak- > akk- in Akkadian does not seem impossible, Hebrew אֹחַ ʔoaħ may come from *āħ/āx/uħ/ux, but *ak can't be explained with a regular change. How the Amharic or Syriac words can come from *ak is entirely beyond me. 79.181.196.123 08:06, 18 February 2021 (UTC)Reply
