@माधवपंडित I wonder if this is the source of ठुल्ला (ṭhullā, “cop”) in Delhi slang. It's strange too that the "l"-dialect won out for this word, even Dardic has only "l"-forms attested. —Aryaman^{A (मुझसे बात करें • योगदान)} 01:52, 31 January 2018 (UTC)

@AryamanA: Haha, very much possible as cops have a reputation of being fat... XD. The l-dialect is confusing, it's said to be just for Māgadhi but even Hindi shows it sometimes with forms like उलझन (uljhan) from अव-रुध् (ava-rudh). -- माधवपंडित (talk) 02:02, 31 January 2018 (UTC)
