Is nobody able to relate aryas with PIE aljos ("else"), meaning "else people", referring to the ethnic differences between the IE immigrants and the auctochtonous people of India and Iran? Taking notice of L becoming R in aryan (Indo-Iranian), as seen in vrikas / warka (wolf) or suras (sun, from *sawelios). Once Indo-Iranians and autochtonous ones were merged, there was no sense anymore to the concept "else", so it became "better than else people", in Persian "faithful, friend", etc., and in India: "What is an aryan? Pretty sure Proto-Indo-Iranian was spoken in neither India nor Iran, but rather Central Asia before the branches spread south. Though the analysis could still apply. 2607:FEA8:4B5C:27AC:6038:E583:B677:9E33 04:58, 1 May 2023 (UTC)
