Revert
[edit]I assume that I was reverted in good faith [1]. The reconstruction *sweoniz comes from Friesen (von), O. 1915. Verdandis småskrifter (Verdandis Pamphlets) nr. 200. Stockholm. As far as I know, it is the only reconstruction compatible with *swe. However, if an updated theory can be found, I look forward to it.--Berig (talk) 06:55, 29 December 2020 (UTC)
- It's not a possible form in Proto-Germanic. There are no known instances of a short vowel in hiatus like that, and short *o is not a phoneme. —Rua (mew) 11:17, 29 December 2020 (UTC)
