Middle Welsh word amser

[edit]

Cheers! Middle Welsh amser cites this reconstruction as root and it is sourced. Can someone with access to the sources check them and add the Celtic word as a descendent? - Sarilho1 (talk) 21:45, 1 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

Germanic *mēdwō ~ *madwō

[edit]

These two forms may result from an old ablauting paradigm nom. *h₂méh₁-tuh₂ ~ gen. *h₂mh̥₁-twéh₂. Perhaps they should be merged, rather than listed separately? 2A02:C7C:3848:1700:693F:363E:FB3A:47FE 22:34, 23 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
