Old Irish dàn is currently shown under two different routes:

  • déh₃-no-m > [Celtic] dānom
  • déh₃-r̥ ~ *déh₃-n- > [Celtic] dānus

{{R:cel:Matasovic 2009}} gives the source as *dānus < *déh₃-r̥ ~ *déh₃-n-, because dán is a u-stem, not an o-stem. —Aɴɢʀ (talk) 19:57, 22 June 2017 (UTC)Reply

I see that you deleted them from déh₃nom, but an anonymous user has since put them back (maybe not understanding what you meant?), and has also added Gaulish Dannomarus, although Dictionaire de la Langue Gaulois says (p.135) that the root of Danno- in Dannomarus cannot be decided, with both deh₃- and dʰeh₁- being equally likely. --Caoimhin (talk) 22:22, 7 July 2017 (UTC)Reply
