There is no real basis afaict for assuming the word (or indeed even the concept itself) existed in Proto-Germanic; no cognates to the ON term are attested and I haven't seen it reconstructed elsewhere. Its addition therefore seems more like conlanging to me than sound historical linguistics. Besides, the edit was faulty: it removed the link to *Raginawaldą and added a duplicate *Raginaharduz link. (Also I should point out you added it as a common noun - with lowercase initial letter - over at *rakō, and as a proper noun here with uppercase initial letter, which is an inconsistency). — Mnemosientje (t · c) 15:55, 26 June 2018 (UTC)

This confuses me too. It is the root word. Is there evidence the *Raginawaldą and *Raginaharduz existed in Proto-Germanic? I always wondered who made the "rules" for this stuff? 120.29.109.137 12:21, 12 June 2021 (UTC)

PIE Root

While I am not in disagreement with the listed PIE roots, I am curious why the main root Proto-Indo-European *reg is not listed first, let alone at all? Or even Proto-Indo-European *h₃reǵ- at least? 120.29.109.137 12:54, 12 June 2021 (UTC)
