Explanation for Descendants

@Leasnam, @Lambiam: What is the explanation for the /p/ in the descendant words in West Germanic languages? Rare reversion of /ɸ/ to /p/? Is it because of the /s/ being in such close proximity? Tharthan (talk) 05:46, 4 June 2020 (UTC)

@Tharthan, it may have been caused by an alternative form in *rabsijaną, which I've added to the page. Leasnam (talk) 16:55, 19 October 2023 (UTC)
