Etymology

@Illustrious Lock see Wiktionary:Etymology_scriptorium/2023/June#Dravidian_paṭak-_and_Malayo-Polynesian_paʀaqu though its reconstructed by BK it really seems like a recent loan from Malayic, even with terms like kappal it has cognates in Toda where loans cant easily reach (though certainly it can't be in PD due to no cognates outside SD), *coTam has much more cognates too AleksiB 1945 (talk) 20:05, 9 December 2023 (UTC)
