*-yom

[edit]

In the light of Proto-Celtic *rīxs (king), which has the oblique stem *rīg-, would it be valid to reconstruct a suffix *-yom, such that Proto-Celtic *rīgyom*rīxs, *rīg- +‎ *-yom? Is there any other reconstructed Proto-Celtic term that may interpreted as deriving (be it diachronically or synchronically) from such a *-yom suffix? 0DF (talk) 21:49, 22 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
