- Matasović reconstructs it as *flowdyo- (masculine in Middle Irish and so presumably in PC), from *plowdʰo-, and says it's related to plumbum but that μόλυβδος is unrelated. I think *plundʰom would give plumbum, wouldn't it? —Aɴɢʀ (talk) 19:38, 22 September 2016 (UTC)Reply
