Why is this a reconstruction if some form of the word is attested? Did it purposely change the word fuck to something else? Chuterix (talk) 22:56, 5 June 2024 (UTC)

Because the verb *fukken is itself not directly attested but is basically reconstructed from a personal name and a code. Maybe you’re right about such usages borderlining actual attestation, however in the absense of a fullfledged attestation of this word, a mainspace entry would possibly be too much of a stretch; so a reconstructed entry seems justifiable— having not to tread in controversial waters.
