Why the Lombard word is "uncertain"?

I can find usages for the word, for instance in De scriptura nigra (1274), written in Medieval Lombard:

Eo inflo plu ka brosco quand eo vegn a pensar / Del ben k’eo ho perdudho e ’n poss plu recovrar.

I inflated (myself) more than a toad when I start to think / Of the good that I lost and I cannot recover anymore.
