Etymology

    From *kʰa- (head prefix) +‎ *kʰaŋ (boil). The second element is cognate with Tshangla [Term?] (/⁠kʰraŋpa⁠/), which has been borrowed into Chug [Term?] (/⁠kʰraŋpa⁠/), Lish [Term?] (/⁠kʰaŋpa⁠/, boil, noun).
